Frederic Myers, the, Father of Telepathy, and the co-founder of the Society for Psychical Research, was born in 1843. He died in 1901, but that didn’t stop him from messaging descriptions of the After-Life to a group of Mediums in the late 1920s & early’30s.
But the uncanny words, whether from a Spirit or a person in the early 1930s are equally, insanely predictive of today.
ON MACHINES (aka Computers, Phones & more)
Myers messaged: “I beg the men and women of today to consider the human being apart from machines, to consider life apart from gold.”
He also messaged the Medium’s,”What somber destiny may not awake the children of the morrow if they too, are caught in the grip of that creature without a soul, the machine – that last and final embodiment of the god of materialism.”
THE SERVANT
Then, his message; “A mechanism without a soul should be the servant, not the master of the thinking human being. The world of today should envisage the ideal of quality, not quantity.”
These are quotes from Arthur Ford’s book, “The Life Beyond Death,’ which includes multiple examples of PSI, Reincarnation and Telepathy. In this. book, a long chapter of Myers’ research, his impact on psychology, and his passing. He promised to try to communicate from the Beyond.
I couldn’t help by wonder at how uncanny his foresight was and how it seems uniquely for this moment. I also have to wonder what the world will be like when the environment is toxic and over-populated with AI data centers.
