YOUNG WALLY SCHIRRA’S DREAM

FLYING HIGH

Here’s a perfect example of a Psychic, Precognitive dream. When he was young, NASA ASTRONAUT Wally Schirra frequently dreamed he would “just lift off from the ground and start flying in this sky. I would fly higher and faster and farther than could be imagined. It was a wonderful dream of mine that was accomplished in reality by the NASA Space Program.” (1960s).

Since Schirra was was born in 1923, these dreams likely took place in the 1930s, when space flight was mostly imagined in SciFi pulp fiction or inspired by movies like 1936 “Things to Come” (written by H.G.Wells) and the 1936 Flash Gordon serials.

The psychologist/author of “Private Dreams of Public People,” Lauren Lawrence, says flying dreams are the best dream – empowering the dreamer with superman qualities and a sense of omnipotence…But nowhere does she mention the coincidence of Wally Schirra’s early dreams with his career – or the fact the reoccurring dreams were precognitive.

Interestingly, Schirra says he stopped dreaming about flying when he went into Space, because he “hardly slept,” as never felt physically exhausted as he traveled there. And also, I believe, because his early subconscious dreams had already come true, well before.1968, when he commanded Apollo Seven. ( Apollo Seven was the first live TV broadcast from space, and also validated the rendezvous potential of future spacecraft).

The Dreamy Astronauut

You be the judge – did his early, frequent high-flying dreams predict his future as a NASA Astronaut? Or were they just coincidental?I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember any of my adolescent dreams -and certainly not any presaging my compelling interest in the mysteries of PSI.

Psychic Tell: Read the great poem, “Ozymandias,” by Percy Bysshe Shelley and feel better about the Unstate of Chaotic affairs. History will outlast all statues and tributes dedicated to those in power, as they are wrapped up in arrogance and hubris. All their trophies, namesakes and sculptures are but doomed to give way to the winds of time and the will of the people. Just like Ozymandias.
